Fintech Conference
The identity for an international conference on design-led innovation in fintech. A rupee symbol that turns into a rising arrow, plus every piece of print and social that carried it.
Overview
The conference looks at fintech as a force for financial inclusion in emerging economies, and at how design can shape it. Its papers sit under three themes: Design and Technology, Socio-Economic Implication, and Emerging Technology and Financial Security. Selected full papers are published in Springer Nature.
The brief
I was chosen as the student designer for the International Conference on Design Led Innovation to Foster Fintech Ecosystem in Emerging Economies, organised by the Institution's Innovation Council and the Department of Design Led Innovation at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology, on 14–15 July 2026. I designed all of its branding: the logo first, then everything that carried it, from the brochure, the A3 poster and invite to the inaugural invitation, the Instagram and LinkedIn posts and the certificate.
Logo ideations
Five directions in seven colourways, each shown as the mark on its own, with the reasoning behind it.
Option 1
One colourway

This logo places a rupee symbol at the centre of a connected fintech ecosystem, showing the economy as a living system shaped by technology and design. The surrounding digital network also represents progressive fintech, while the upward arrow expresses growth and forward momentum. Together, the mark communicates how design-led innovation enables scalable, inclusive financial systems that drive economic growth in emerging economies.
Option 2
One colourway

This logo also places the rupee at the centre of a flowing financial ecosystem, representing the economy as a dynamic system shaped by progressive fintech and design-led innovation. The upward arrow signifies growth and forward momentum. Digital connections highlight fintech infrastructure, together communicating how emerging economies evolve through inclusive, technology-driven financial systems.
Option 3
One colourway

The rupee at the centre of a flowing fintech ecosystem, representing the economy as a dynamic system shaped by progressive fintech and design-led innovation. Circular motion shows continuity and resilience, while the upward arrow signifies growth and forward momentum. Digital connections highlight fintech infrastructure, together communicating inclusive and sustainable economic development in emerging economies.
Option 4
Blue and orange

Option 5
Blue and orange

This logo combines the letters F (Fintech) and S (Srishti) into a modular monogram that represents the integration of design education and financial technology. The interlocking forms suggest an interconnected economy and a resilient fintech ecosystem, while the minimal, system-based construction reflects design-led innovation and structured growth within emerging economies.
